Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cybersecurity architectures for software applications and platforms across JP Morgan Chase's global operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing systems, identifying vulnerabilities in high-stakes banking environments
• Drive the adoption of secure coding practices and architectural patterns to mitigate risks in cloud-native and on-premises infrastructures
• Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity best practices to development, engineering, and business teams within the Corporate & Investment Bank
• Evaluate and recommend security tools, technologies, and standards to enhance the resilience of JP Morgan's digital platforms
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to the firm's cybersecurity strategy, aligning with enterprise-wide initiatives
• Monitor evolving cyber threats in the financial sector and proactively update architectural defenses
• Ensure audit readiness and support incident response planning for architecture-related security events
• Foster innovation in cybersecurity architecture to support JP Morgan's digital transformation and client-facing services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, with at least 5 years in financial services or regulated industries
• Proven track record of designing and implementing secure architectures for large-scale software applications and platforms
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS compliance requirements
• Experience with cloud security architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments in a banking context
• Strong understanding of threat modeling, risk assessment, and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements specific to U.S. banking, including FFIEC and GLBA
• Hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices and automation tools for security integration
• Advanced knowledge of emerging threats like AI-driven attacks and quantum-resistant cryptography
• MBA or equivalent business acumen to align cybersecurity with financial business objectives

• Strong knowledge of encryption, access management (IAM), and zero-trust models

• Leadership in guiding technical teams on security matters
