Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy fullstack applications using modern web technologies and AWS infrastructure to support JP Morgan Chase's global financial operations
• Lead a team of engineers in building scalable, resilient systems that handle high-volume transactions and ensure data security in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate complex financial requirements into technical solutions
• Optimize application performance and cost-efficiency on AWS, leveraging serverless architectures for trading and analytics platforms
• Implement robust CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to accelerate delivery of features for risk assessment and portfolio management tools
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and adherence to JP Morgan's engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in real-time, minimizing downtime for mission-critical financial systems
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and contribute to innovation initiatives within the firm's technology roadmap
• Ensure all developments align with cybersecurity protocols and financial industry regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on fullstack development
• Proven expertise in AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
• Strong experience in building scalable, secure applications for the financial services sector
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in agile environments
• In-depth knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance with financial regulations like SOX and GDPR

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Java, Python, or Node.js for backend development and React/Angular for frontend
