Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Java-based applications using Spring Framework on AWS infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable solutions that support JP Morgan's global financial services
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and security standards
• Drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies to enhance trading platforms, risk management systems, or customer-facing applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for critical financial operations
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to deliver high-quality software iteratively
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in all software deliverables
• Optimize application performance and cost-efficiency on AWS, leveraging cloud-native services
• Contribute to the evolution of JP Morgan's technology stack by prototyping new features and tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on Java development
• Strong proficiency in Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
• Proven track record of delivering high-impact projects in financial services or similar regulated industries
• Experience with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

• Experience in developing secure, scalable applications for banking or fintech domains
