Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex software solutions using Java, Python, Spring, and AWS to support JP Morgan Chase's financial platforms
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and solve diverse technical challenges that drive significant impact in trading, risk management, and client services
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices in software engineering
• Implement secure, scalable cloud-based architectures on AWS, ensuring compliance with financial regulations like GDPR and SEC standards
• Conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues in production environments for mission-critical applications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on Java and Python development
• Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable applications using Spring Framework and AWS cloud services
• Strong understanding of financial services domain, including regulatory compliance and secure data handling
