You will collaborate closely with data scientists, compliance experts, and business leaders to align technical deliverables with strategic objectives, mitigating risks like model hallucinations or data biases that could impact financial decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of prompt engineering strategies for generative AI models to enhance financial applications
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate complex financial requirements into AI solutions
• Oversee the delivery of AI-powered tools for areas like fraud detection, personalized banking, and market analysis
• Ensure AI systems comply with JP Morgan's stringent regulatory standards and ethical guidelines
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation within the software engineering team
• Drive integration of LLMs with existing JP Morgan platforms, including cloud-based infrastructures
• Conduct performance tuning and A/B testing of prompts to maximize model accuracy and efficiency
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with AI deployment in high-volume financial transactions
• Contribute to strategic roadmaps for AI adoption across JP Morgan's global operations
• Stay abreast of emerging AI trends and recommend technologies to maintain competitive edge in fintech

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML or prompt engineering
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams in delivering AI-driven solutions in a financial services environment
• Deep expertise in large language models (LLMs) and generative AI technologies
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and risk management in banking
• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices in enterprise settings
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex, high-stakes projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or related discipline
• Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
• Certifications in AI ethics, prompt engineering, or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Background in developing AI applications for trading, risk assessment, or customer service in finance
• Familiarity with JP Morgan's internal tools and frameworks for secure AI deployment

Required Skills

• Prompt engineering and fine-tuning of LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT)
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala for AI development
