Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications for the Partner Channel in Card services
  • Oversee the migration and optimization of legacy systems to AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps aligned with Consumer & Community Banking goals
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and risk management standards in financial services
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Drive agile methodologies, including sprint planning, code reviews, and deployment processes
  • Identify and implement scalable solutions to support high-volume transaction processing
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party APIs and partner ecosystems

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
  • Proven expertise in Java development and AWS cloud services
  • Strong understanding of financial services regulations and compliance in banking
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in agile environments
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact projects in consumer banking or payment systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in card services or partner channel integrations within financial institutions
