Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and structure innovative commodity index products and quantitative investment strategies (QIS) tailored to client needs
  • Collaborate with trading desks, sales teams, and clients to design trade strategies that optimize returns and manage risks
  • Analyze market trends in commodities and global indices to identify structuring opportunities
  • Conduct quantitative modeling and scenario analysis to support product launches and portfolio adjustments
  • Engage with institutional clients, including hedge funds and asset managers, to provide customized solutions and trade ideas
  • Monitor and hedge risks associated with structured products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Contribute to the team's research on emerging commodity trends and QIS innovations
  • Partner with technology teams to enhance structuring tools and automate processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree (Master's or PhD) preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in structuring, derivatives, or commodity markets within investment banking or asset management
  • Strong understanding of commodity indices, quantitative investment strategies (QIS), and financial derivatives
  • Proven track record in developing and executing trade strategies for institutional clients
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and risk analysis using tools like Excel, Python, or MATLAB
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or equivalent regulatory qualifications
