Key Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, and negotiate legal documentation for structured investment products, including ISDA Master Agreements and confirmations
  • Support high-volume transaction management in a fast-paced investment banking environment, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, trading, and sales teams to mitigate risks in structured products documentation
  • Manage documentation workflows using electronic platforms and ensure timely execution of agreements
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in legal terms, conditions, and collateral requirements for structured deals
  • Assist in the onboarding of new clients and counterparties for structured investments
  • Monitor regulatory changes impacting structured products and update documentation processes accordingly
  • Provide guidance on documentation best practices to junior team members
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews on executed documents to prevent errors
  • Contribute to process improvements in transaction management for efficiency gains

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in legal documentation for structured products or derivatives in investment banking
  • Strong knowledge of ISDA, GMRA, and other standard financial agreements
  • Proficiency in reviewing and negotiating complex legal documents under tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, and MiFID II
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume workflows
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

  • Advanced degree (JD or MBA) with a focus on financial law or securities
