Key Responsibilities

• Lead the integration of new systems and tools into the Indirect Tax Operations Team, ensuring seamless connectivity with JP Morgan Chase's core banking platforms
• Provide expert user support for tax-related software, troubleshooting issues and optimizing workflows for operational efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, and compliance to align system capabilities with indirect tax regulatory needs
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles for system enhancements, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation support
• Develop and maintain documentation for system integrations, user guides, and support protocols specific to financial tax operations
• Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks in tax data processing and reporting
• Train and mentor team members on best practices for system usage and integration in a JP Morgan Chase environment
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, conducting audits on integrated systems
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance user experience and operational resilience in indirect tax processes
• Liaise with vendors and third-party providers to integrate external tools into JP Morgan's ecosystem

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in system integration, IT support, or operations within the financial services industry
• Proven track record in managing indirect tax operations or compliance systems in a banking environment
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for indirect taxes (e.g., VAT, GST) in the UK and EU
• Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
• Certification in ITIL, PMP, or equivalent in system integration and support
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a high-stakes financial setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or Business Administration
• Experience with JP Morgan Chase's internal systems or similar enterprise platforms like SAP or Oracle
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR in financial contexts
• Prior role in establishing or scaling operations teams in a global bank
• Familiarity with cloud-based integration tools (e.g., AWS, Azure) for financial applications
