Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute end-to-end audits of consumer banking technology platforms, including mobile apps, online banking, and transaction processing systems at JP Morgan Chase
  • Assess the design and effectiveness of IT controls, identifying risks related to data security, system reliability, and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with technology teams, business stakeholders, and senior management to develop audit plans and remediation strategies
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations and present findings to executive leadership and the Audit Committee
  • Monitor ongoing technology risks in consumer and community banking, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan's enterprise risk framework
  • Mentor junior auditors and contribute to the development of audit methodologies tailored to financial services innovations
  • Conduct continuous monitoring and testing of key controls in areas like fraud detection, customer data privacy, and payment infrastructures
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and technological advancements to enhance audit coverage for JP Morgan's consumer banking operations
  • Support internal audit's response to regulatory examinations and internal quality assurance processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT auditing, risk management, or technology controls within the financial services industry
  • Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or equivalent
  • Proven experience auditing consumer banking technologies, including core banking systems, digital platforms, and payment processing
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as SOX, GDPR, and OCC guidelines for financial institutions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead audit engagements and manage cross-functional teams in a high-stakes environment
