Key Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of technology risks associated with application portfolios at JP Morgan Chase
• Serve as the primary application owner, ensuring robust controls are implemented to maintain operational integrity and compliance
• Collaborate with technology, business, and compliance teams to develop and execute risk management strategies in a dynamic financial landscape
• Conduct regular audits and testing of controls to identify vulnerabilities and recommend enhancements
• Monitor emerging regulatory requirements and industry standards, integrating them into application governance practices
• Provide expert guidance on tech risk policies, reporting findings to senior leadership and regulatory bodies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in technology risk management, controls, or compliance within the financial services industry
• Proven track record as an application owner or lead in managing IT risks and controls for large-scale financial systems
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, SOX, and Basel III, with experience in audit and compliance processes
• Certification in risk management, such as CRISC, CISA, or equivalent
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams in a high-stakes banking environment
