Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of technology risks across JP Morgan Chase's platforms and infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain robust control frameworks to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Collaborate with technology, business, and compliance teams to integrate risk management into development and operations
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and gap analyses to enhance operational integrity in a fast-evolving financial landscape
  • Oversee the implementation of risk monitoring tools and reporting mechanisms for senior leadership
  • Facilitate training and awareness programs on tech risks and controls for team members
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in risk processes, leveraging data analytics and emerging technologies
  • Act as a key advisor to stakeholders on emerging risks such as cyber threats and third-party vendor exposures
  • Prepare and present risk reports to regulatory bodies and executive management

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in technology risk management, controls, or compliance within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in leading risk assessment and mitigation programs in a large-scale banking environment
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, Dodd-Frank, and GDPR as they apply to technology risks
  • Experience with audit processes and collaborating with internal/external auditors
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams in high-stakes, dynamic environments
  • Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISA, or CISSP

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Risk Management or a related discipline
