Key Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of technology risks across JP Morgan's Dublin operations, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk standards
• Develop and maintain robust control frameworks to support operational integrity and regulatory compliance in a fast-evolving financial landscape
• Collaborate with technology, business, and compliance teams to implement risk management strategies for core banking systems and digital platforms
• Conduct regular audits and testing of tech controls, reporting findings to senior leadership and regulatory bodies
• Drive continuous improvement in risk monitoring tools and processes, leveraging data analytics for proactive risk detection
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of risk awareness within the Technology Risk & Services category
• Ensure adherence to JP Morgan's global policies on data privacy, cybersecurity, and operational resilience
• Partner with global stakeholders to align Dublin-based initiatives with firm-wide risk objectives
• Respond to emerging risks such as cyber threats or fintech disruptions, developing tailored control measures
• Prepare and present risk reports for executive reviews and contribute to strategic planning in financial services tech

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in technology risk management, controls, or compliance within the financial services industry
• Proven track record in leading risk assessment and mitigation programs in a large-scale banking environment
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, SOX, and Basel III, with experience in tech risk compliance
• Certification in risk management (e.g., CRISC, CISA) or equivalent professional qualification
• Experience in agile methodologies and managing cross-functional teams in a global financial institution
• Ability to work in Dublin, Ireland, with eligibility for employment in the EU

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Risk Management or related discipline
• Prior experience at JP Morgan Chase or a similar tier-1 global bank
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like NIST or ISO 27001 applied to financial tech
• Experience with cloud risk management in AWS, Azure, or similar platforms used by JP Morgan
• Fluency in additional European languages for cross-border collaboration
