Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategy for Business and Technology Resiliency within Foundational Services, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's enterprise risk management framework
  • Lead the coordination and execution of resiliency testing, including tabletop exercises, disaster recovery drills, and crisis simulations
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technology risks related to system outages, cyber threats, and operational disruptions in the financial services context
  • Collaborate with technology teams to implement controls for resiliency, such as redundancy, failover mechanisms, and incident response protocols
  • Monitor and report on key resiliency metrics and KPIs to senior leadership, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Drive continuous improvement in resiliency programs by incorporating lessons learned from incidents and industry best practices
  • Partner with business units to integrate resiliency into product development and IT operations, minimizing downtime for critical banking services

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in technology risk management, controls, or resiliency programs within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in leading business and technology resiliency initiatives, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as FFIEC, OCC, and Basel III guidelines for operational resilience in banking
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams across technology and business units in a large-scale financial institution
  • Certification in risk management (e.g., CRISC, CISA) or resiliency frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301)
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders in a high-pressure environment
