Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and maintenance of key risk metrics for the Risk Intelligence & Advisory Metrics team, ensuring alignment with firm-wide risk appetite
  • Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to identify, assess, and report on tech risk exposures across JP Morgan Chase's global operations
  • Design and implement dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide actionable insights into technology risks and controls effectiveness
  • Conduct regular reviews and enhancements of risk control frameworks to mitigate emerging threats in the financial services landscape
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives to integrate metrics into strategic decision-making processes at the executive level
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure metrics compliance with standards like Dodd-Frank and UK PRA requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Proven track record in developing and implementing risk metrics frameworks for large-scale financial institutions
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as Basel III, GDPR, and SOX compliance in banking environments
  • Experience with data analytics tools and risk assessment methodologies in a tech-driven organization
  • Certification in risk management (e.g., CRISC, CISA) or equivalent professional qualification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Risk Management or Finance
  • Prior experience at a global investment bank like JP Morgan Chase or similar
