Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of technology risk policies and control frameworks to ensure alignment with JP Morgan Chase's global standards
• Oversee control operations, including testing, monitoring, and reporting on tech risks in banking systems
• Collaborate with technology, compliance, and business teams to identify and mitigate emerging risks in a dynamic financial landscape
• Ensure operational integrity by implementing robust controls for data security, system resilience, and regulatory compliance
• Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses for tech initiatives, providing recommendations to senior leadership
• Drive continuous improvement in policy execution and control effectiveness across the Bournemouth operations
• Manage stakeholder communications, including reporting to regulators and internal governance bodies
• Mentor junior team members in best practices for tech risk management
• Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes impacting financial services technology
• Support audit processes and remediation activities to maintain JP Morgan's reputation for risk excellence

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in technology risk management, controls, or compliance within the financial services industry
• Proven track record in leading policy development and control operations in a regulated environment
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, SOX, and Basel III applicable to financial institutions
• Experience in managing tech risks in large-scale banking operations, including cybersecurity and data governance
• Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISA, or CISSP
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment based in Bournemouth, Dorset, UK

• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Risk Management or Finance
