  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and control testing for technology platforms and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Monitor and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and control effectiveness in the financial services context
  • Support governance processes by advising on risk mitigation strategies for tech initiatives
  • Lead or participate in audits and regulatory reviews related to technology risks
  • Identify emerging risks in areas like cybersecurity, data privacy, and third-party vendor management

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology risk management, controls, or compliance within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, SOX, and Basel III, with experience in financial institutions
  • Proven track record in identifying and mitigating technology risks in a large-scale banking environment
  • Experience with risk assessment methodologies and control frameworks like COSO or COBIT
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global team setting, with exposure to cross-border regulatory requirements
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CIA
