Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of technology risk assurance programs focused on cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity resiliency for JP Morgan Chase's Corporate Technology & Controls (CTC) division
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and audits of cloud-based systems to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards in the financial services sector
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and compliance to identify, mitigate, and monitor technology risks in cloud environments
• Design and implement resiliency testing frameworks, including disaster recovery simulations and business continuity planning for critical banking applications
• Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity best practices and cloud security controls to enhance the overall resilience of JP Morgan's technology ecosystem
• Develop and maintain risk reporting dashboards and metrics to support senior leadership decision-making on technology investments and risk appetite
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in technology assurance processes, incorporating lessons learned from incidents and regulatory examinations
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of risk awareness within the CTC Cloud & Technology Resiliency group
• Stay abreast of evolving industry regulations and threats, advising on proactive measures to safeguard JP Morgan's digital assets
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulators to facilitate smooth examinations of cloud and resiliency controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in technology risk management, assurance, or resiliency within the financial services industry
• Proven expertise in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements including those from the Federal Reserve, OCC, and SEC related to technology resiliency and cloud adoption in banking
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in risk assessment and mitigation for large-scale financial institutions
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, or CCSP
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving cloud migration and resiliency testing in a high-stakes environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar, with focus on cloud and technology resiliency
• Knowledge of JP Morgan's internal risk management frameworks and tools for technology assurance
• Advanced certifications in cloud security (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty) or resiliency planning
• Prior leadership role in developing resiliency strategies for critical financial systems
• Familiarity with emerging technologies like AI/ML in risk assurance and hybrid cloud environments
