Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of technology sustainability programs aligned with JP Morgan Chase's net-zero ambitions by 2050
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and compliance teams to integrate sustainable practices into tech infrastructure
• Manage program budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver innovative solutions reducing environmental impact in financial services
• Conduct assessments of tech operations for carbon emissions and recommend efficiency improvements
• Drive stakeholder engagement across global teams to ensure adherence to sustainability KPIs
• Monitor and report on program progress using metrics like Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions in line with industry standards
• Foster innovation in sustainable tech, such as AI-driven energy optimization for banking systems
• Ensure compliance with evolving regulations and internal policies at JP Morgan Chase
• Mentor junior program managers on sustainability best practices in a fast-paced financial environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in technical program management within the financial services industry
• Proven track record of leading sustainability initiatives in technology environments
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for sustainability reporting in finance, such as EU Taxonomy and SFDR
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in a global banking context
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or sustainability (e.g., LEED, GRI)
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex, high-stakes programs with multimillion-dollar budgets

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Sustainability, Business, or Technology
• Experience with carbon footprint analysis and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) frameworks in tech operations
• Prior work at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
• Knowledge of sustainable IT practices, including green data centers and renewable energy sourcing
• Familiarity with agile methodologies applied to sustainability projects
