Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development of innovative payment products, from ideation to deployment, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's strategic goals in next-gen banking
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to define technical requirements and product roadmaps for payment solutions
  • Drive innovation in areas like real-time payments, digital wallets, and fraud prevention technologies
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify opportunities for enhancing JP Morgan's payment ecosystem
  • Ensure products meet regulatory standards and security protocols specific to the financial services industry
  • Manage stakeholder communications, including senior leadership, to provide updates on product progress and risks
  • Mentor junior product managers and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team
  • Oversee testing, quality assurance, and post-launch optimization of payment platforms

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, technical product development, or software engineering within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in developing and launching payment solutions or fintech products
  • Strong understanding of payment systems, including real-time payments, cross-border transactions, and regulatory compliance (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 20022)
  • Experience with agile methodologies and cross-functional team leadership in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to bridge technical and business requirements in a large-scale enterprise setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working at a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
  • Knowledge of blockchain, APIs, or emerging technologies in digital payments
