Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical projects and programs in the Payments Technology team, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's strategic objectives in LATAM
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define project scopes, timelines, and resource requirements for payments innovations
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and issues across multiple workstreams, mitigating impacts on project deliverables
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive team performance
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and security standards specific to payments in Brazil and LATAM markets
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards, reports, and status updates for senior leadership at JP Morgan Chase
  • Coordinate with global teams to integrate LATAM payments solutions with JP Morgan's worldwide infrastructure
  • Mentor junior project managers and foster a culture of continuous improvement in project delivery
  • Monitor project budgets and optimize resource allocation to achieve cost efficiency
  • Drive stakeholder engagement to gather requirements and ensure successful adoption of new payments technologies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within technology or financial services environments
  • Proven track record of leading complex technical projects in payments or fintech domains
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience with payments systems, including real-time payments, cross-border transactions, and regulatory compliance in Latin America
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft Project
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Certification in PMP, Scrum Master, or SAFe Agilist
  • Experience working in multinational financial institutions, particularly in the LATAM region
