Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of technical solutions for the Last Mile Reporting EMEA Team using Python and Databricks
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver high-quality software that supports financial reporting needs
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in data engineering and software architecture
• Implement scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions to ensure accurate and timely EMEA financial reports
• Conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and troubleshoot complex issues in production environments
• Integrate security and compliance measures into all technical deliverables to meet JP Morgan Chase standards
• Drive innovation in reporting tools, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance efficiency in financial services
• Coordinate with stakeholders across EMEA regions to align technical solutions with business objectives
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives within the agile framework

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Python development
• Proven experience leading technical teams in agile environments within financial services
• Strong knowledge of Databricks and big data processing technologies
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure in a regulated industry
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable technical solutions
• Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus for EMEA operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in financial reporting systems, particularly in EMEA markets
• Certification in Databricks or Python-related technologies
• Prior leadership role in a global banking institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in financial data handling (e.g., GDPR, MiFID II)
