Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of technical solutions for the Last Mile Reporting EMEA Team using Python and Databricks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver high-quality software that supports financial reporting needs
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in data engineering and software architecture
  • Implement scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions to ensure accurate and timely EMEA financial reports
  • Conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and troubleshoot complex issues in production environments
  • Integrate security and compliance measures into all technical deliverables to meet JP Morgan Chase standards
  • Drive innovation in reporting tools, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance efficiency in financial services

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Python development

  • Strong knowledge of Databricks and big data processing technologies
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure in a regulated industry
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable technical solutions
  • Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus for EMEA operations
