Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key executives in the Technology, Media & Telecoms sector to drive merchant services adoption
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the TMT client portfolio, focusing on payment solutions and value-added services
  • Collaborate with internal teams including product, risk, and compliance to tailor payment offerings for TMT-specific needs
  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and needs assessments to ensure high satisfaction and retention
  • Monitor industry trends in TMT and payments to provide proactive advice and innovative solutions to clients
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue targets and expand wallet share in merchant acquiring
  • Support cross-selling of JP Morgan Chase's broader financial products, such as treasury services and capital markets
  • Analyze client performance metrics and provide insights to enhance payment processing efficiency
  • Participate in industry events and networking to represent JP Morgan Chase and foster new partnerships
  • Ensure all client interactions comply with regulatory standards and internal risk policies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relationship management, sales, or account management within the financial services or payments industry
  • Proven track record of managing client relationships in the Technology, Media & Telecoms (TMT) sector
  • Strong understanding of merchant services, payment processing, and digital payment solutions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage C-suite executives
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for client meetings and industry events
  • Series 7 and/or Series 63 licenses preferred, or ability to obtain within 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or related discipline
  • Experience working with large-scale TMT clients such as tech giants or telecom providers
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in payments and fintech (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR)
  • Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
  • Fluency in additional languages relevant to TMT clients (e.g., Spanish for telecom markets)
