Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of cybersecurity governance frameworks for the digital bank launch in Germany, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's enterprise risk standards
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and control evaluations for technology platforms supporting digital banking services
• Oversee the creation of risk management reports and dashboards for senior leadership, highlighting key cybersecurity metrics and mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and business units, to integrate cybersecurity controls into product development lifecycle
• Monitor and respond to emerging cybersecurity threats, ensuring proactive measures for the German market
• Drive regulatory compliance efforts, including audits and reporting under EU directives like GDPR and PSD2
• Mentor and develop a team of risk analysts, fostering a culture of risk awareness within the organization
• Identify opportunities to enhance cybersecurity resilience through innovative tools and processes tailored to financial services
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement with regulators and external partners to support secure banking operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in technology risk management, with a focus on cybersecurity governance in the financial services sector
• Proven track record in managing cybersecurity risks for digital banking initiatives or similar high-stakes projects
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, PSD2, and EBA guidelines relevant to EU financial operations
• Experience in risk assessment methodologies, including NIST, ISO 27001, and COBIT frameworks
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a global banking environment like JP Morgan Chase
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Risk Management or Cybersecurity
• Experience working with JP Morgan Chase or other major global banks on digital transformation projects
• Familiarity with German banking regulations and the European digital banking landscape
• Prior involvement in launching or scaling digital banking platforms in the EU
• Demonstrated success in cybersecurity reporting and stakeholder communication at executive levels
