Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for technology risk and controls initiatives, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's enterprise risk framework
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technology risks in financial systems, including IT infrastructure and software applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and business units, to implement robust control measures
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets while monitoring key performance indicators for risk reduction
  • Conduct gap analyses and recommend improvements to operational processes to enhance resilience against cyber threats and regulatory changes
  • Facilitate stakeholder communications, reporting progress on risk management projects to senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with global financial regulations and internal policies, driving innovation in risk monitoring tools
  • Support audit and regulatory examinations by providing documentation and evidence of control effectiveness
  • Mentor junior team members on best practices in technology risk management within the banking sector

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology risk management, controls, or project management within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects related to regulatory compliance and operational risk mitigation
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations such as Basel III, GDPR, and SOX, with experience in tech risk frameworks
  • Experience with project management methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or PMI standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Risk Management) or relevant certifications like PMP, CRISC, or CISA
