Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and triage production issues in AWS/Linux environments, ensuring minimal downtime for critical financial systems
  • Collaborate with Technology and Business partners to analyze root causes of incidents and implement timely resolutions
  • Perform routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades on Linux servers hosted in AWS
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and knowledge base articles to support team efficiency and regulatory compliance
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers while providing detailed handoffs in a fast-paced banking operations setting
  • Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning for AWS resources to support high-volume transaction processing
  • Participate in on-call rotations to handle urgent production support for global JP Morgan Chase applications
  • Assist in disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning for financial services infrastructure
  • Ensure adherence to security protocols and audit requirements in all support activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or production management
  • Proficiency in Linux operating systems and AWS cloud services
  • Strong understanding of networking, troubleshooting, and incident management in a financial services environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to collaborate across global teams
  • Availability for on-call rotations and shift work to support 24/7 production environments
