Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain production technology environments to ensure 99.99% uptime for critical financial applications
  • Provide first-line support for incidents affecting application infrastructure, including root cause analysis and resolution
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to deploy updates and patches in a controlled manner
  • Perform routine health checks and performance tuning on servers, networks, and databases supporting trading platforms
  • Document operational procedures and contribute to knowledge bases for JP Morgan's global technology support
  • Escalate complex issues to senior support levels while minimizing impact on business operations
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as SOX and GDPR in all support activities
  • Participate in disaster recovery drills and contribute to business continuity planning for financial services
  • Analyze system logs and metrics to proactively identify potential disruptions in production services
  • Support end-users in Houston and remote teams with technology issues related to core banking infrastructure

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in IT support, operations, or production environments
  • Strong understanding of application infrastructure and end-to-end service delivery in financial services
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools and basic troubleshooting of technology systems
