Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tier-2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues to ensure minimal downtime for trading and banking operations
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential disruptions in JP Morgan's global infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to desktop, server, and application environments using diagnostic tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement fixes and upgrades that enhance system stability and efficiency
  • Document support activities, maintain knowledge base articles, and contribute to post-incident reviews
  • Assist in user training on technology tools and best practices to support secure and efficient workflows
  • Ensure compliance with JP Morgan's security protocols and financial regulations during all support activities
  • Participate in on-call rotations to handle urgent issues outside business hours
  • Analyze support trends to recommend process improvements for technology reliability
  • Support deployment of new technologies aligned with JP Morgan's digital transformation initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in IT support or technical operations within a financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting
  • Experience with ticketing systems and incident management processes
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards in banking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment
  • Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in ITIL, CompTIA A+, or similar IT support credentials
  • Experience supporting trading platforms or financial applications at a global bank
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS or Azure in a hybrid environment
  • Previous role in a multinational financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as GDPR or SOX in financial tech support
