Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain application performance and availability for critical financial systems, ensuring 99.99% uptime in a high-volume trading environment
  • Respond to production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to minimize disruptions in global markets
  • Collaborate with development teams to deploy and support applications using SRE best practices, including automation and observability
  • Conduct regular health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning for technology stacks supporting JP Morgan's investment banking and asset management divisions
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal security policies, including audit support for Singapore-based operations
  • Develop and maintain runbooks, dashboards, and alerting systems using tools like Splunk or Prometheus
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for mission-critical applications
  • Drive operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies and recommending process improvements in a large-scale, distributed environment
  • Mentor junior team members on SRE principles and financial technology support

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) within a financial services environment
