Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support for Windows File Services, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of shared drives and storage solutions
• Monitor and maintain file server performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime in a mission-critical financial environment
• Implement and manage data backup, replication, and disaster recovery processes to safeguard sensitive banking data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate file services with JP Morgan's core banking applications and trading systems
• Conduct regular security audits and apply patches to mitigate risks in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to file access, permissions, and network connectivity
• Develop and document procedures for file service operations to support operational excellence and business continuity
• Assist in capacity planning and scalability assessments for growing data volumes in investment and commercial banking operations
• Train junior team members on best practices for Windows file management in a secure financial setting
• Respond to production incidents and perform root cause analysis to prevent future disruptions in global markets

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, specifically with Windows server administration and file services
• Proven experience managing large-scale file storage systems in a financial services environment
• Strong understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory
• Experience with enterprise backup and recovery solutions, such as Veeam or Commvault
• Knowledge of compliance standards like SOX, PCI-DSS, and data security protocols in banking
• Ability to work in a high-availability, 24/7 operational environment with on-call rotations

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent
• Experience with JP Morgan's internal tools and financial technology infrastructure
• Background in supporting trading platforms or risk management systems in investment banking
• Familiarity with automation scripting using PowerShell for file services management
• Prior experience in a global financial institution with cross-timezone team collaboration

• Expertise in Windows Server administration and file sharing protocols (SMB/CIFS)
