Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and maintenance for regulatory reporting applications used by JP Morgan Chase's global teams
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and compliance officers to ensure accurate and timely regulatory filings
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data processing pipelines for reports submitted to regulators like the PBOC or international bodies
• Develop and implement enhancements to reporting technology to meet evolving regulatory standards in the financial services sector
• Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity for high-volume regulatory submissions
• Participate in testing and validation of new features in JP Morgan's proprietary reporting platforms
• Assist in the integration of regulatory data from various JP Morgan business lines, including investment banking and asset management
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the Regulatory Reporting Technology team
• Support audit and compliance reviews by providing technical insights and reports
• Stay updated on global regulatory changes and recommend technology adaptations for JP Morgan's Shanghai operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering or technology support within the financial services industry
• Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements, such as Basel III, Dodd-Frank, or MiFID II
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or SQL
• Experience with data management and reporting tools in a banking environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes regulatory compliance setting
• Fluency in English; Mandarin proficiency is advantageous for Shanghai-based role
