Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to validate software applications in the financial services domain
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to identify testing needs and ensure comprehensive coverage of banking functionalities
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery of secure and reliable financial products
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with stakeholders to resolve issues impacting transaction processing or data integrity
  • Maintain and update test automation frameworks to align with evolving JPMorgan Chase technologies and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, providing insights on test automation strategies for portfolio delivery projects
  • Conduct risk-based testing to ensure compliance with financial industry standards and mitigate operational risks
  • Mentor junior team members on best practices for automated testing in a fast-paced banking environment
  • Document test cases, scripts, and reports to support audit trails and quality assurance processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation engineering within a financial services environment
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or JUnit for developing and maintaining automated test scripts
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI in a banking technology context
  • Knowledge of financial regulations such as GDPR, SOX, or PCI-DSS compliance in testing practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant technical field
  • Certification in ISTQB or Certified Selenium Tester
  • Experience with Java or Python programming for test automation in large-scale financial applications
