Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive automated testing strategy aligned with JP Morgan Chase's product portfolio and delivery goals
  • Oversee a team of test automation engineers, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and career development opportunities
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to integrate automated testing into the software development lifecycle
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Appium, and Jenkins
  • Ensure testing processes comply with financial regulations and internal audit requirements
  • Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement in test coverage and efficiency
  • Champion best practices in quality assurance, including shift-left testing and exploratory automation
  • Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor relationships for testing tools and services
  • Report on testing metrics and KPIs to senior leadership to support data-driven decisions in the financial services domain

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 4 years in test automation leadership roles
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing automated testing frameworks in financial services environments
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in high-stakes, regulated industries like banking
  • Proficiency in risk management and compliance standards such as SOX, GDPR, and PCI-DSS
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop testing professionals

Preferred Qualifications
