Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and design comprehensive test strategies for APAC Equities projects, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
  • Execute manual and automated tests to validate operational transformations in equities settlement, clearing, and reconciliation processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and operations stakeholders, to identify and resolve defects
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts
  • Document test cases, results, and reports, ensuring compliance with JP Morgan Chase's quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes by incorporating industry best practices and innovative tools
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phases and provide training to end-users on new system functionalities
  • Monitor and analyze test metrics to assess project risks and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and retrospectives, to align testing activities with project goals
  • Ensure all testing activities adhere to data privacy and security protocols in the financial services sector

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or operations transformation within the financial services industry
  • Proven experience in testing equities trading systems, settlement processes, or similar financial operations
  • Strong understanding of APAC equities markets, regulatory requirements, and operational workflows
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Selenium
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Confluence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment with excellent English communication skills
