Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial reporting and accounting processes for JP Morgan Chase's global real estate portfolio
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for real estate operations across multiple regions
  • Conduct reconciliations of real estate accounts, including leases, property valuations, and capital expenditures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate recording of real estate transactions and investments
  • Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations for real estate financial controls
  • Monitor and mitigate financial risks associated with global real estate assets
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the Global Real Estate Accounting team
  • Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance for real estate activities in various jurisdictions
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to senior management on real estate strategy

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial accounting or controlling within the financial services industry
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools
  • Experience with real estate accounting or asset management
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance)
