Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage trade finance transactions, including documentation review for letters of credit, export/import financing, and guarantees
  • Monitor and optimize working capital solutions for corporate clients, ensuring efficient cash flow and liquidity management
  • Collaborate with global teams to resolve discrepancies in trade documents and ensure compliance with international standards
  • Analyze client portfolios to identify opportunities for trade finance products that enhance working capital efficiency
  • Support risk assessment and mitigation in trade operations, including credit checks and exposure monitoring
  • Utilize JP Morgan's proprietary systems to track transaction statuses and generate reports for internal and client use
  • Contribute to operational excellence initiatives, such as automating processes to reduce turnaround times
  • Liaise with clients, counterparties, and internal stakeholders to provide seamless support in trade and working capital services
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies in all trade-related activities
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on evolving trade finance trends

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in trade finance, working capital management, or related operations in the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of international trade finance products, including letters of credit, guarantees, and supply chain finance
  • Proficiency in financial regulations such as UCP 600, ISP 98, and compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) standards
  • Experience with core banking systems or trade finance platforms like SWIFT or Finacle
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with attention to detail
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous for global operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification such as Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP) or equivalent
  • Prior experience at a multinational bank like JP Morgan Chase in operations or middle office roles
  • Familiarity with working capital optimization tools and cash management solutions
