Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for trade clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to trade transactions
  • Monitor and manage trade finance portfolios to ensure timely execution and compliance with client agreements
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and risk management, to enhance client service delivery
  • Analyze client needs and recommend tailored trade finance solutions to improve efficiency and satisfaction
  • Prepare and deliver reports on client service metrics, trade volumes, and performance indicators to senior management
  • Ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase's risk and compliance policies in all client interactions
  • Support the onboarding of new trade clients, including documentation and KYC processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in trade client service to drive operational excellence
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Handle escalations for complex trade disputes, coordinating with global teams for resolution

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in client service, trade finance, or financial services operations
  • Strong understanding of trade finance products, including letters of credit, trade loans, and supply chain finance
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken) for client interactions in Shanghai
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in trade finance, such as those from the People's Bank of China and international standards
  • Experience with client relationship management systems or CRM tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-border teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification in trade finance, such as Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP)
  • Prior experience at a multinational bank like JP Morgan Chase in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Familiarity with digital trade platforms and blockchain applications in trade finance
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree
  • Experience handling high-net-worth clients or corporate trade portfolios
