Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily operational activities for Trade Finance, including processing letters of credit, guarantees, and documentary collections
  • Ensure all operations comply with internal JP Morgan Chase policies, regulatory requirements, and international standards
  • Manage a team of operations analysts, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities
  • Identify and implement process efficiencies to enhance productivity and reduce operational risks
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders, including front-office, risk management, and compliance teams, to resolve complex trade finance issues
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational metrics to senior leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in trade finance operations within the financial services industry
  • Proven leadership experience managing operational teams in a high-volume environment
  • In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, including UCP 600, ISBP, and Incoterms
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements such as AML, KYC, and sanctions screening
  • Experience with trade finance systems like SWIFT, Finacle, or similar platforms
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Trade Finance Professional)
  • Prior experience at a major global bank like JP Morgan Chase
