Key Responsibilities

  • Process and settle equity trades across various markets, ensuring timely and accurate execution
  • Identify and resolve trade breaks, discrepancies, and settlement issues in collaboration with trading desks
  • Monitor trade lifecycle from execution to confirmation, including allocation and regulatory reporting
  • Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives to reduce operational risks and costs
  • Conduct daily reconciliations of trade data between internal systems and external counterparties
  • Support audit and compliance activities related to trade operations
  • Collaborate with global teams to handle exceptions in high-volume trading environments
  • Analyze trade data to provide insights on settlement trends and potential bottlenecks
  • Ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase's risk management policies and industry regulations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in trade lifecycle management, settlements, or operations within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of equity markets, trade settlements, and regulatory requirements such as MiFID II and EMIR
  • Proficiency in trade processing systems and reconciliation tools
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex trade discrepancies
  • Relevant certifications such as CFA Level 1 or Series 7 (or equivalent in the UK)
  • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship
