Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate booking, confirmation, and settlement of OTC derivatives trades in accordance with JPMorgan Chase's operational standards
  • Perform daily reconciliations of trade data across internal systems and with counterparties to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Monitor trade lifecycle events, including novations, assignments, and terminations, while maintaining audit trails
  • Collaborate with front office, risk management, and compliance teams to mitigate operational risks
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies, contributing to reporting for bodies like the CFTC or ESMA
  • Analyze and investigate trade breaks, providing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
  • Support system enhancements and process improvements to optimize trade operations efficiency
  • Manage client inquiries related to trade status, settlements, and documentation
  • Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning for trade operations
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all trade activities to support audits and examinations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in operations, trade support, or reconciliation within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of OTC derivatives products, including swaps, options, and forwards
  • Proficiency in trade lifecycle management and settlement processes
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, or MiFID II
  • Experience with data reconciliation and discrepancy resolution in a high-volume environment
  • Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is advantageous for the Buenos Aires location

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification such as CFA, FRM, or relevant derivatives qualifications
  • Prior experience working with JPMorgan Chase or similar global investment banks
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies like blockchain or AI in trade operations
