Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end trade lifecycle processes, including trade capture, confirmation, and settlement across various asset classes
  • Oversee cash movements and funding activities to ensure timely and accurate execution in JPMorgan Chase's global operations
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks in trade processing
  • Collaborate with front office, middle office, and technology teams to resolve trade discrepancies and exceptions
  • Monitor and reconcile trade data using JPMorgan's proprietary systems and third-party platforms
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations governing trade lifecycle events
  • Analyze funding requirements and liquidity positions to support seamless trade execution
  • Contribute to the development of automated solutions and reporting tools for trade lifecycle management
  • Participate in audits and provide support for regulatory reporting related to trade activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in trade lifecycle management, operations, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of cash management, funding processes, and asset classes in investment banking
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools used in trade processing
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for managing complex transactions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or relevant certifications like CFA or FRM
  • Experience in trade settlement, reconciliation, or risk management at a major financial institution
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as Dodd-Frank, MiFID II, or EMIR in trade lifecycle
  • Prior exposure to process improvement methodologies like Lean Six Sigma
