Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end operational support for the Equities business, ensuring seamless trade execution from initiation to settlement
  • Manage daily trade settlements, including reconciliation of trades across multiple global markets and counterparties
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks in trade lifecycle management
  • Collaborate with front-office traders, middle-office teams, and external custodians to resolve trade discrepancies and exceptions
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, internal controls, and JP Morgan Chase policies
  • Analyze trade data to detect anomalies and support audit requirements
  • Contribute to the development and testing of new trading systems and workflows in a global environment
  • Prepare reports on trade volumes, settlement failures, and operational metrics for senior management
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to equities product expansions or market integrations
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by participating in team training and knowledge-sharing sessions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in trade operations, settlements, or back-office support within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of equities trading lifecycle, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation
  • Proficiency in regulatory requirements such as T+2 settlement rules and knowledge of global market standards
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in trade data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-time zone collaboration
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with JP Morgan Chase systems or similar investment banking platforms
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies like blockchain or AI in trade processing
  • Certification in financial operations, such as CFA Level 1 or Operations Professional certification
