Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash movements and funding activities across various asset classes to ensure timely settlements and liquidity
  • Oversee the end-to-end trade lifecycle, including trade capture, confirmation, allocation, and reconciliation
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize operational efficiency and mitigate risks in trade processing
  • Collaborate with front office, middle office, and external counterparties to resolve trade discrepancies and exceptions
  • Monitor and report on funding positions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and enhance forecasting for cash and collateral management
  • Drive automation initiatives using tools like Aladdin or proprietary JP Morgan systems to streamline workflows
  • Participate in audits and ensure accurate documentation of trade lifecycle events
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to system enhancements or new product launches in the asset management space

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in trade lifecycle management, operations, or a similar role within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of cash management, funding processes, and asset operations in a banking environment
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools such as SWIFT, Bloomberg, or similar platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risks
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience in data reconciliation and reporting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment with a focus on compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or relevant certifications like CFA or FRM
  • Experience in trade settlement and lifecycle events at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, or MiFID II
