Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end cash equity settlement process for institutional clients, including trade confirmation and allocation
  • Ensure accurate account setup and maintenance in JP Morgan's core settlement systems
  • Monitor and resolve settlement breaks, discrepancies, and fails in coordination with internal teams and external counterparties
  • Collaborate with front-office traders and client service teams to facilitate timely trade execution and reporting
  • Perform daily reconciliations of trade data against custodian and clearing house records
  • Adhere to regulatory compliance standards and contribute to audit processes for trade lifecycle activities
  • Assist in implementing process improvements and automation to enhance settlement efficiency
  • Provide support for ad-hoc client queries related to trade status and settlement timelines
  • Contribute to risk management by identifying potential settlement risks and escalating as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all settlement activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in trade operations, settlements, or back-office functions within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of cash equity markets and settlement processes, including T+2 settlement cycles
  • Proficiency in English; Korean language skills required for local client interactions
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as those from KRX (Korea Exchange) and international standards like ISO 20022
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Basic experience with financial systems or databases
