Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily clearing operations for futures and options trades in the Asia-Pacific region, ensuring accurate processing and risk mitigation
  • Perform reconciliations between internal systems, client positions, and exchange data to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate with middle office teams to monitor trade exposures, margins, and collateral requirements
  • Facilitate settlement processes, including payment instructions and confirmations with counterparties and custodians
  • Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance checks for clearing activities under Asia-Pacific frameworks
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
  • Liaise with front office, technology, and global teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit trails and operational controls
  • Monitor market events and their impact on clearing workflows, escalating risks as needed
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to new product launches or system migrations in futures & options clearing

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in clearing operations, middle office, or settlement within financial services, preferably in derivatives or futures & options
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes in futures and options markets, including clearing and reconciliation
  • Proficiency in financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to Asia-Pacific markets
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to handle complex data and resolve discrepancies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlines
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional Asian languages is advantageous
