Key Responsibilities

  • Process and settle equities and fixed income trades for JPMorgan Chase's APAC clients, ensuring timely and accurate execution
  • Monitor trade lifecycle from confirmation to settlement, identifying and resolving discrepancies in real-time
  • Collaborate with internal teams including trading desks, custody, and compliance to mitigate settlement risks
  • Perform daily reconciliations of trade data across multiple systems and counterparties
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal controls for APAC securities operations
  • Handle exception management for failed trades, including root cause analysis and escalation
  • Support month-end and quarter-end reporting for settlements in equities and fixed income
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
  • Liaise with external custodians and clearing houses to facilitate smooth trade settlements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in securities operations, trade settlements, or a similar role within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of equities and fixed income trade lifecycle processes
  • Proficiency in settlement systems and regulatory requirements in the APAC region
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume transactions accurately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment including potential night shifts to align with global markets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with JPMorgan Chase's internal systems such as Flexcube or similar trade processing platforms
  • Knowledge of APAC market regulations including those from HKMA, MAS, and SEC Philippines
  • Prior exposure to cross-border trade settlements and reconciliation processes
  • Certification in financial operations such as CFA Level 1 or Operations Professional qualification
