Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end trade lifecycle, including trade capture, validation, confirmation, and settlement for various asset classes
  • Manage daily cash movements, liquidity forecasting, and reconciliation to ensure accurate funding and minimize operational risks
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and comply with JPMorgan Chase's operational standards
  • Collaborate with front-office, middle-office, and technology teams to resolve trade discrepancies and support new product launches
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to trade operations and regulatory adherence
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to global regulations and internal controls within the Corporate & Investment Bank division
  • Drive automation initiatives using tools like Aladdin or proprietary JPMorgan systems to streamline workflows
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement in the Bengaluru operations hub
  • Liaise with external counterparties, custodians, and clearinghouses to facilitate seamless trade execution
  • Contribute to audit processes and prepare documentation for internal and external reviews

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade lifecycle management, operations, or related roles within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of trade processing, settlement, and reconciliation processes in securities, derivatives, or foreign exchange markets
  • Proficiency in regulatory requirements such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, or MiFID II
  • Experience with cash management, liquidity operations, and risk mitigation in a banking environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive operational efficiency
  • Relevant certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CTP

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) with a focus on financial markets
  • Prior experience at a global investment bank like JPMorgan Chase or similar institution
