Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily post-trade operations including instruction capture, trade matching, confirmation, and settlement for client portfolios
  • Utilize IMOS platform to monitor and process trade lifecycle events, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Collaborate with front-office traders, clients, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and exceptions in trade data
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations governing trade activities
  • Perform quality checks and reconciliations on trade data to mitigate operational risks
  • Support the implementation of process enhancements and technology integrations within the trade operations team
  • Generate reports on trade status, volumes, and issues for senior management and stakeholders
  • Handle client inquiries related to trade execution and post-trade processing
  • Contribute to audit preparations and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Identify and escalate potential risks or control weaknesses in the trade lifecycle process

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in trade operations, post-trade processing, or financial services back-office roles
  • Proficiency in trade lifecycle management systems, particularly IMOS (Integrated Market and Operations System)
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments such as derivatives, fixed income, and equities
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements in trade processing (e.g., Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MiFID II)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with attention to detail
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with JP Morgan Chase or similar global investment banks
  • Certification in financial operations such as CFA Level 1 or Operations Professional certification
  • Familiarity with Asian financial markets and cross-border trade regulations
  • Prior exposure to automation tools and process improvement initiatives in trade operations
