Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily reconciliations of trade data in IMOS, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for client portfolios
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in post-trade activities, including trade confirmations, settlements, and valuations
  • Collaborate with global teams to support end-to-end trade lifecycle processes for institutional clients
  • Monitor and report on operational risks, implementing controls to mitigate potential issues
  • Utilize data analytics tools to perform root cause analysis on reconciliation breaks
  • Ensure compliance with internal JP Morgan policies and external regulatory standards such as Dodd-Frank or EMIR
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency in trade operations
  • Liaise with front-office, middle-office, and back-office stakeholders to facilitate seamless trade execution
  • Prepare and distribute reconciliation reports to senior management and clients
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to system enhancements or operational audits

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in trade lifecycle management, reconciliations, or post-trade operations within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of investment management operations and systems, particularly IMOS (Investment Management Operating System)
  • Proficiency in financial reconciliation processes and data analysis
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for trade reporting and compliance in global markets
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume transactional data
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with JP Morgan Chase's internal systems or similar investment banking platforms
  • Certification in financial operations such as CFA Level 1 or FRM
  • Prior exposure to multi-asset class reconciliations (e.g., equities, fixed income, derivatives)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies in operational environments
