Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle for equities and fixed income products, including trade capture, validation, and allocation
  • Ensure timely and accurate settlement of trades, resolving any discrepancies or breaks in collaboration with front office and counterparties
  • Monitor and mitigate operational risks, performing daily reconciliations and exception handling to maintain compliance standards
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements, preparing and submitting trade data in line with global regulations
  • Collaborate with technology teams to enhance trade processing systems and implement process automation
  • Provide operational support during market hours, handling ad-hoc queries and escalations from stakeholders
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews on trade data and contribute to audit preparations
  • Analyze trade lifecycle metrics to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Liaise with global teams in JP Morgan Chase's Markets Operations to ensure seamless cross-regional support
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging risks in equities and FI markets

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trade lifecycle management, operations, or middle office roles within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of equities and fixed income (FI) products, including trade execution, confirmation, and settlement processes
  • Proficiency in regulatory requirements such as MiFID II, EMIR, and Dodd-Frank for trade reporting and compliance
  • Experience with trade lifecycle systems like Murex, Calypso, or Bloomberg
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a focus on accuracy and risk mitigation
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification such as CFA, FRM, or Series 7 equivalent
  • Prior experience in a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase, handling multi-asset class operations
  • Knowledge of Asian Pacific market regulations and cross-border trade settlements
